Le ministre de l’Agriculture, de la Souveraineté alimentaire et de l’Élevage (MASAE) le Docteur Mabouba Diagne a annoncé, ce mercredi, la mise en place d’un projet d’usine de montage de tracteurs multi-marques et d’équipements agricoles.
Dans une note publiée sur son compte X, il a indiqué que son département, en collaboration avec le ministère du Commerce et de l’Industrie (MINCOM), a initié une dynamique de partenariat dont le but est de fédérer le secteur privé sénégalais au sein d’un consortium national.
« L’objectif est de développer un partenariat stratégique avec le groupe turc Albayrak, avec l’appui de l’Exim Bank Turquie, pour la mise en place au Sénégal d’une usine de montage de tracteurs multi-marques et d’équipements agricoles », a-t-il dit.
Selon le Dr Diagne, une première réunion de travail a réuni les différentes parties prenantes. Il s’agit du MASAE et du MINCOM, du groupe Albayrak, d’Exim Bank Turquie, ainsi qu’un groupe d’entreprises sénégalaises composé de CCBM, EMG, SISMAR, Oumou Group et Diass Industries.
Il a également relevé que les parties prenantes veulent ensemble développer le programme « Allo Tracteurs », pour faciliter l’accès des producteurs aux services de mécanisation.
